It has been two weeks since I have been able to stroll in the streets of Manhattan Island. There is something incredible about being able to immerse yourself in the the vibrancy of the city that never sleeps. To be able to view the history and the innovation all packed into a small island is breathtaking. New York finds a way to weave so many different people, cultures, traditions, and ideas together into a tapestry of vibrance and energy that just cannot be replicated. I'll admit, I yearn to go back, even 2 weeks seems like a lifetime away.. I think I've fallen in love.
The only thing I can do now? Live vicariously through pictures. Here is a look from one of my first days in the Big Apple. I have been gravitating towards my boyfriend jean jacket all the time recently and I am just loving how it grounds my more polished pieces in my wardrobe. The oversize makes the jacket incredibly comfortable and I am in love with the distressed detail on the jacket, my favourite thing? I got it for $12. I paired my new favourite with my incredibly comfortable Aritzia silk trousers and Tobi crop top, not only does this add comfort for walking all day, but also adds length to my legs. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
