Thanksgiving in Canada has come and gone and I truly have a lot to be thankful for. I started this blog a few months ago to post and share my personal love and view of fashion. I wanted an outlet outside of the realm of Instagram to explore a deeper commitment of sharing my personal sense of style with the world. Admittedly I have been lacking posts lately, spending my time more focused on extra-curriculars, classes and work, but to check back and see another view of one of my posts gives an incredibly gratifying feeling. I wanted to dedicate this post to those who make this blog possible and who have encouraged me to continue on this little journey with me.
First, I want to say thanks to you, the one reading this post, for taking a few minutes out of your day to click, scroll and read one of my posts. I may not be the next Aimee Song or Chiara Ferragni, but to have the honour of having peers look at my work, whether it may be a positive outlook or negative, is something I greatly value and appreciate. Your feedback has been given me the courage to continue and to share, as scary as it may seem in this gigantic world.
Second, I want to thank my family, who has shaped into the person I am today, encouraging my lust for adventure, curiosity, and creating an environment where I would feel safe to explore who I am and what I love. I won't elaborate further because I'm scared I may cry onto my laptop!
Lastly, I'd like to thank my crazy friends who have taken time out of their busy lives to help me make this blog possible. Thank you for being my photographers, my modeling coaches and editors. I love that you are all willing to take crazy journeys with me to find beautiful settings (aka. nice walls), willing to embarrass yourselves in society with me as I attempt to look a little serious in photos, and mostly willing to deal with me asking for more and more shots so I find a photo where my face doesn't look completely neurotic and crazy.
Thank you, to all of you for making “See by Carol” possible, it's still growing, it's still new to me, but I'm so thankful to be supported by such incredible people that support this endeavor.
I love you all.
